REGISTERED ADULT NURSE - DISABILITY ASSESSOR

Salary: £39,500 & Annual Salary Reviews
Location: Truro (TR1) Hybrid (Homebased & Site-Based)

Hours: Monday to Friday
  • 08:30am - 17:00pm / 09:00am - 17:30pm
  • 40 hours - permeant
  • (Part-Time Available: 24hrs or 34hrs)

Your Role as a Disability Assessor:
  • Conduct Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments on behalf of the DWP
  • Evaluate how health conditions impact claimants' daily lives and mobility
  • Carry out assessments via telephone, video, and face-to-face consultations
  • Talk and type simultaneously while gathering accurate medical evidence
  • Complete structured, objective reports that support fair decision-making

Requirements:
  • Currently registered with the NMC/HCPC for one full year this is essential
  • One full year of current, active experience working in the UK adult healthcare sector (16+) this is essential
  • Strong Typing capacity - essential.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and IT skills
  • Must be based in or near Truro for required site visits

We have start dates in: May, June and August.
