Launceston College Trust have an exciting opportunity for someone to work with Trust’s Project Manager to gain valuable workplace experience whilst working towards a qualification.
You will be working under the supervision of the Trust’s Project Manager, assisting with various marketing, branding and communication projects across the Trust, but also within each school setting. You will be liaising with senior members of the Trust, so a level of professionalism and friendliness is expected. Project work will include, but is not limited to; website builds, developing social media strategies to increase our presence in our communities, helping grow our presence on LinkedIn, developing brand guidelines, and generally helping to improve the perception of the brand.
The role holder will have:
- Some knowledge in marketing using social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube
- Good written communication skills, capable of proof reading and an eye for detail
- Some knowledge in website design and maintenance (Google platform) (not essential)
- Ability to work with a cross section of stakeholders
Delivery of the apprenticeship programme will be by Cambridge Marketing College commencing September 2021. 20% of your work hours and blended learning, with online study materials combined with monthly one-to-one Skype tutorials, webinars and peer interaction.
The apprenticeship will be delivered over a period of approximately 18 months, plus the End Point Assessment period which is up to 6 months. Following completion of the apprenticeship, the successful candidate will receive an apprenticeship qualification and professional body recognition that meets the requirements for registration as an Affiliate Member with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
